Welcome to www.DavidFinckLuthier.com
I have just published this new site — www.davidfinckluthier.com — to serve as a concise portfolio of the violin and viola models I make, to provide audition and purchase details, a personal introduction (if you don’t know me already), and as an ongoing and updated source of useful information. Look around and let me know what you think. I value your feedback and suggestions.
15-5/8″ Viola
Completed in July, this smaller viola inspired by a 1560 Andrea Amati has plenty of presence and a C-string as profound as you are likely to find in a viola of this size.
