I have learned so much from being the father of our two daughters, Ledah and Willa. They have taught me and inspired me. They are the primary reasons that I am now a violin and viola maker and I am amazed that they still choose to play my violins number 1 and 2, and have been so successful with them.
Willa graduated from Eastman School of Music on May 20, 2018, earning a violin performance degree with high distinction. On May 25th she auditioned for and won a tenured, full-time position with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. Welcome to adulthood and the third stand in the RPO, Willa.
Ledah graduated from the Peabody Institute of Music on May 23, 2018 earning masters degrees in both violin performance and composition. Just prior to graduation her ensemble, Trio Jinx, performed as quarter-finalists at the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition. She is earning accolades and commissions as a composer and is an active performer around Baltimore and across the country. This summer she will be performing in music festivals at Sitka, Alaska, Banff in Canada and Lucerne in Switzerland.
