OK, its a newly photographed violin. I completed this one some months ago, but I’ve only lately gotten around to photograph it. I hesitated because it didn’t feel finished until recently. Multiple sound-posts, bridges, tail-pieces, tail-guts (varying materials and lengths), chin-rests, and string brands…I juggled all these components to optimize the inherent character of this fiddle. I believe we have arrived. If you like chocolate, then this one is for you:  it’s thick and rich, and like the 72% cacao stuff, intense, dark and strong,… but sweet too.
