I am very excited and pleased to introduce this new instrument, which may be my finest-sounding violin to date. It is patterned after the “del Gesu” Guarneri 1743 “Il Cannone,” and it is remarkable. Play a simple scale and its clarity, depth, and power are definitively revealed. Although it has yet to be played in a concert hall, given its focus and volume, I am confident it will project exceedingly well. It plays with great ease, handles pianissimo with a satisfying core to the sound, and gives the impression of almost limitless headroom. Available for audition.
